#clmooc-cutout
A little late (yes, I know…there is no “late” in #clmooc), but I finally got around to trying some cutout photos as we discussed.
And we’ve been talking about sharing more “work in process,” so here are pics from along the way and different things I tried. Captions included to tell about the steps and process.
I started with clip art that I made b/w.
Then I colored it with markers and glued it to cardboard.
Then I cut it out. Next time I might pick a more regular shape. This was hard to cut out.

Lizard on the hoophouse screen. (This is real lizards’ favorite place.)

This is my fav I think.

Love the graphical guy will travel idea! With photography a passion, I would love to do this. I envision classrooms designing a class mascot and photographing or photoshopping into pictures during the year. What a great “show and tell” idea this could allow students!
Clever. Love the colors and the idea. School mascots could go crazy. Kids could show their cutout instead of themselves in pictures. What else?
